Financial Intern

Salary: R100 000 per annum (total cost to company)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A three-year relevant Degree or National Diploma with preferably majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Auditing.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of Windows Spreadsheet applications.
• A driver’s license will be an added advantage.
• The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35.

Internship overview: The MFMIP is a structured professional training and work experience programme with the goal of providing high quality training and practical exposure in all aspects of a Municipal Budget and Treasury Office which is governed by the MFMA, Act 56 of 2003 and the underlying reforms.

Supply, delivery and off-loading of 42.5N CEM II Portland-composite cement - Local Production and content is 100%

Inspection, rewiring, installation of components and issuing a CoC for the electrical installation at CKDM depot in Murraysburg

Supply and delivery of 3 x i5 laptops

Supply and delivery of reinforcing steel. Local Production and content is 100%

Appointment of a panel of accredited training service providers for a period of three-years

Training: Chemical Operation Training level 2, 3 and 4 for a three-year period

Management and implementation of the Rural Road Asset Management System within the Central Karoo District Municipal area for a three-year period
