A service provider is sought to develop and conduct an Ambient Air Quality Baseline Study in the Central Karoo District Municipality. With the proposed uranium mining and the shale gas development scheduled to take place in the CKDM, it is necessary to establish the criteria pollutant levels before any mining activities take place. This information would form a scientific basis to determine if the mining and shale gas developments impact on the air quality and the environment in the CKDM.
