Festive Season Message
From the Executive Mayor
We have now come to the end of 2021. This was also the year of our Municipal Elections that was held on 1 November 2021. While we've had many achievements during the year, we have also identified many obstacles which we aim to overcome during 2022.
Christmas is a time for celebrating with our loved ones and sharing with those who are less fortunate. It is during Christmas that we are reminded to spread the message of love and peace.
It is our wish that you and your family will enjoy and celebrate a festive season full of cheers and happiness. For those of you who will be travelling over the holidays drive safely, slow down, take enough breaks and ensure the safety of your loved ones and other road users. Our deepest condolences to many families in the Central Karoo Region who have lost their loved ones on our roads. We know that God will give them strength in these trying times of mourning.
We are excited that 2022 will present us with yet another wonderful opportunity to "Work Together in Development in Growth". Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all.
