Director: Corporate and Strategic Support Services

The department is responsible for the general operations of the Municipality including administration, human resources, and document management. In addition to oversight of the central administrative functions of the Municipality, the role of the Corporate and Strategic Services Department will also be to provide secretarial services and guidance to Council and other governance structures of the Municipality and safeguard the interests of the municipal stakeholders (communities and staff).

The department also seeks to provide an efficient and pro-active strategic service which includes the Integrated Development Plan (IDP), Local Economic Development, Performance Management, Risk Management, and Regional Project Management.

Director: Financial Services (CFO)

Our Chief Financial Officer has an essential function in assisting the Municipal Manager to attend to the financial affairs of the Municipality. This includes budget preparation and the development and maintenance of internal control policies and procedures. The CFO plays an integral role in implementing financial reforms at the direction of the Municipal Manager and with the assistance of appropriately skilled finance staff.
