TENDER FOR SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF CENTRAL KAROO DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY IT EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS

Reason for extension:  The Central Karoo District Municipality has entered into an agreement with the Beaufort West Municipality in sharing of ICT hardware and infrastructure.

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 46 of the Municipal Finance Management Act that the Central Karoo District Municipality intends taking up an external lease liability to fund the acquisition of leased photocopier machines in the 2019/2020 financial year.

Particulars of the proposed debt/lease are as follow:

• Amount of Debt to be incurred: Approximately R 600 000

Purpose for which the debt is to be incurred:

• Procurement of various photocopier machines

Security to be provided:

• Leased photocopier machines

Interest rate:

• Fixed or floating rate

CKDM invites written comments or representations from the public, National Treasury and the Western Cape Provision Treasury in respect of the proposed debt.

SCM Notice no: 1/2020 - INVITATION TO REGISTER AND TO UPDATE DETAILS ON THE CENTRAL SUPPLIER DATABASE (CSD)

In terms of the Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations 14(1) (ii), a municipality must annually invite prospective providers of goods or services to apply for evaluation and listing as accredited prospective providers.
The Central Karoo District; Beaufort West; Laingsburg and Prince Albert Municipalities invites all current as well as interested prospective suppliers of goods and services to register on the Centralised Supplier Database.

National Treasury has issued MFMA Circular 81 pertaining to a Web based Central Supplier Database(CSD) for the registration of prospective suppliers. As of 1st July 2016 all suppliers who intend doing business with Beaufort West Municipalities and all government departments, must be registered on the Centralised Supplier Database. The Centralised Supplier Database is a single database to serve as the source of all supplier information for all spheres of government. The benefit for the private sector will be a reduction of red tape and administrative effort when doing business with government.

SCM Notice 2 of 2021/2022: CKDM025 – 2020/2021: Provision of comprehensive banking services (3 years) TENDER MODIFICATION NOTIFICATION

Due to the current unrest and upheaval taking place in several parts of South Africa, the Municipality took a decision to extend the closing date for this tender to ensure a fair and equitable process.
